SUMMARY:Leadership Series: Strategies for Effective Communication
DESCRIPTION:Register\n\n\n\n\n\nOverview\nEffective communication is an essential skill for all of us. In this interactive workshop learn the different types of communication\, practice approaching a difficult discussion with a case study\, and recognize biases and patterns in human behavior that may impact communication success. Best practices will be shared for various modes of communication as well as how to communicate across roles in a team. \nThis session is led by Drs. Anne Browning (Chief Well-Being Officer) and Giana Davidson (Assistant Dean for Professional Development). \nThe University of Washington School of Medicine is accredited by the Accreditation Council for Continuing Medical Education to provide continuing medical education for physicians. \nThe University of Washington School of Medicine designates this Live Activity for a maximum of 2.00 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™.
