WA State Department of Health (DOH)
Washington State Department of Health Healthcare Enforcement and Licensing Management System (HELMS) is the WA State DOH licensing system for all healthcare professionals and facilities. Your certificates and renewal notices are now digital through HELMS.
The WA DOH Prescription Monitoring Program (PMP) was created to improve patient care and to stop prescription drug misuse by collecting dispensing records for Schedule II, III, IV and V drugs, and by making the information available to medical providers and pharmacists as a patient care tool. Register for the DOH PMP with a Secure Access Washington (SAW) account. Visit the site here for more information and registration instructions.
DEA License
OMSA will notify providers when their DEA license is expired or about to expire. Access the DEA license renewal website here. Contact your department or division administrator for the specific process of renewing your DEA license through UW.
