Clinical Teaching Certificate Program

The Center for Learning and Innovation in Medical Education (CLIME) is excited to offer the Clinical Teaching Certificate that starts in October every academic year. This program is designed to help teachers strengthen their teaching and maximize learning in the clinical environment. Faculty who teach alongside providing clinical care will benefit from this program. Faculty responsible for teaching clinical skills outside of their own clinical practice will also benefit. Join a growing community of faculty working to strengthen clinical teaching skills!
Certificate requirements include attendance of six live online sessions and completion of six online modules with additional independent learning activities. Certificates can be earned by completing the requirements over a single year or over multiple years.
The University of Washington School of Medicine designates this other activity for a maximum of 18 AMA PRA Category 1 Credits™. Physicians should claim only the credit commensurate with the extent of their participation in the activity.
