We are excited to have you join our vibrant community of scholars, researchers, and clinicians across the WWAMI (Washington, Wyoming, Alaska, Montana, and Idaho) region. As a new faculty member, you are an essential part of our mission to improve health for all people through excellence in integrated clinical care, research and education.
To help you get settled into your new job, you are invited to attend our two online orientation sessions designed to introduce you to the university, answer your questions, and support your smooth transition into our community. The Welcome to the School of Medicine and UW Medicine Clinical Enterprise and the Benefits Overview will each be held once per month.

Welcome to the School of Medicine and UW Medicine Clinical Enterprise
This online orientation session begins with a welcome to the School of Medicine by the Office of Faculty Affairs (OFA) for all faculty members and is followed by a welcome to the UW Medicine Clinical Enterprise by UW Medicine and UWP leaders for faculty members engaged in clinical activities. All new faculty members are encouraged to attend.
The Welcome to the School of Medicine and UW Medicine Clinical Enterprise session will be scheduled monthly at varied times of day and days of the week for greatest flexibility.

Benefits Overview
This online orientation session is led by benefits experts from UW and UWP/CUMG and provides an overview of UW and UWP/CUMG benefits to new faculty. Each session will always begin with UW benefits.

The Benefits Overview will occur regularly on the first Wednesday of each month from 3:00pm – 4:15pm. You may view a recording of the benefits overview here if you are unable to attend a live session.
