Overview
Delivering feedback is essential to professional growth, a collaborative culture, our educational environment, and patient safety. However, it’s often avoided, delayed, or poorly received. In this interactive session, participants will explore evidence-based strategies for giving clear, respectful, and growth-oriented feedback. We’ll address common pitfalls, discuss feedback across power dynamics, and offer practical tools to support psychological safety while holding others accountable. Designed for healthcare professionals in leadership, teaching, or team-based roles, this session aims to build confidence in having feedback conversations that drive learning and connection.
This session will be led by Drs. Giana Davidson (Interim Associate Dean for Faculty Affairs) and Addie McClintock (Director, Teaching Scholars Program).
