GET TO KNOW PAUL NGHIEM, DERMATOLOGY CHAIR / 2024
Paul Nghiem, MD, PhD, was appointed as the founding chair of the Department of Dermatology at the UW School of Medicine on March 1, 2024. Since 2015, Nghiem has served as the Head of the Division of Dermatology and led its journey from division to department. Learn about Dr. Nghiem and his vision for the department.

Following a national search, Tim Dellit, MD, has been appointed as the CEO of UW Medicine, the Paul G. Ramsey Endowed Dean of the UW School of Medicine and as the University’s Executive Vice President for Medical Affairs, positions he’d held on an interim basis since July 2022. GET TO KNOW BRAD SIMMONS: PRESIDENT, UW MEDICINE HOSPITALS AND CLINICS / 2023
Brad Simmons, MHA, FACHE, started his new role as the president of UW Medicine Hospitals & Clinics and vice president for medical affairs at the University of Washington on Aug. 16. He’s been in healthcare administration for over 20 years and comes from the University of California where he served in leadership roles for UC Davis Medical Center in Sacramento.
